TOY GUIDELINES

The United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program will gladly accept any of the following toys:

New Toys -- please donate any used, or "like new" toys to the Salvation Army.
Unwrapped Toys -- our thorough sorting, checking and distribution process requires that we be able to clearly see the toy and evaluate it for age-appropriateness
Sealed and Shrink-wrapped videos/video games -- our thorough sorting, checking and distribution process requires that all videos or video games be in their original, shrink-wrapped packaging.

The United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program is unable to accept any of the following toys:

No toy weapons of any kind -- no squirt guns, no cap guns, no play swords (or real ones!)
No food -- sorry, not even any candy canes, as we are unable to ensure against food spoilage.
No used toys -- although many toys that your own children may have outgrown may be clean, in good working order and may have only been "gently used,"  the Toys for Tots Program is dedicated to making sure that needy children receive at least one, new toy for Christmas.

The following are some ideas and suggestions on which toys, what type of toys and toys for which age and gender categories are most urgently needed:
